About Us
Paula Quintana was born in Boston, Mass, in 1976.
Interior architecture is her chosen path. She took her first steps towards furthering her goals in Paris where, after mastering the language, she attended Ecole Camondo, one of the most prestigious interior architecture design schools. Her good taste and love for detail strengthened her passion not only for her career but for everything connected with French culture. She graduated with honors because of her outstanding proposal on a sophisticated Latin world, thus beginning to define her unique style of interior design.
After graduating she moved to New York City, where she aimed to experience American functionality firsthand, trait she firmly believed would round-off what she had already learnt.
Later, Paula moved back to Colombia to continue building up her own path. As she has never felt comfortable with adapting to other’s designs, she has consistently developed original, practical, sophisticated, and charming creative proposals.. While working on her architecture projects she teamed up with her sister to create a shoe brand. This new venture gave Paula the opportunity to put her many talents to work, not only designing the shoes, but also getting involved in launching the brand (store design, stand design, showrooms, pop ups and packaging). After 15 years of launching her shoe brand, Paula decided to move to the United States to start her dreamed interior architecture design boutique: The Canvas Project.
A sophisticated blend of art and architecture in which both art and design shine jointly and severally to complement each other to create unique, cozy, and balanced spaces.

We understand that properties sell faster and for better price when they’re well staged. We also know that most home buyers fall in love with a nicely staged property and are more likely to buy the whole package.
We analyze the property and potential buyer first, then we stage accordingly. Tipically, the buyer purchases the property with all furnishings included.
If the buyer doesn’t purchase the furnishings, the property owner will pay a monthly fee for the duration of the staging (this fee is agreed upon with the owner prior to staging). It’s important to note that the owner only pays the monthly fee if the property is sold.
If the property is sold with all furnishing included, the owner doesn’t have to pay the monthly fee.
